The new Texas A&M Rowing facility will replace the current TAMU crew and sailing team boat storage at Lake Bryan. This facility will reflect the needs and desires of a Division I NCAA rowing team with 80 members. Public visitors will also benefit from this facility as it will provide boat rentals and dock access. We expect that this facility will better prepare the Texas A&M Rowing Team for their competitions and enhance user experience at Lake Bryan. Basing the design concept on a grid, and the ripples that are created from the rowers, we tried to find a concept that would reflect the functionality of the facility.
